The heaviness of anger.. of disappointment
a silent meal.
I focus intently on my pile of corn.
I never noticed how firm a kernel is
until it gives way to the pressure of my teeth.
I never thought about how my chicken finger
looks like a fish.
Well, a long fish.
until we fought at dinner
and the silence drew my eyes
down to my plate..
and my fork scooped up the
tributaries of blue cheese dressing.
I’ve been meaning to make a post about a couple of obnoxiously huge drop down menus,
but that will have to wait.. there are more pressing matters at hand… like this facebook conversation.
it makes me laugh.
